CATRIONA WOOD
Catriona Wood is a contemporary artist based in London, known for her floral and sea paintings, now in homes and hotels across the UK, Europe, Australia, and the USA. Catriona exhibits in galleries and shows in and out of London, where she sells her original acrylic paintings and limited-edition prints. She also accepts commissions, including a recent piece for a client in Sydney.

Highlights of her first year as a full-time artist include her solo show at 67 York Street Gallery, Marylebone, and exhibiting at The Other Art Fair, London and Henley Festival, Berkshire. Following the Affordable Art Fair, she will exhibit at The Picture Gallery at the RAC, Pall Mall at Christmas time.

Influenced by the Impressionists, Catriona’s style is loose, expressive, and textured. She paints quickly with acrylics, building up visible brushstrokes and layers. Her pieces are intended for modern homes and interiors. Her work has been featured in House & Garden magazine and British Vogue. She has also advertised on the London Underground, and Netflix recently bought one of her original works for a U.S.-based production.

Catriona studied a foundation diploma in Art & Design in Falmouth, followed by a degree in Graphic Design in Edinburgh and Boston (USA). Her time living in France and Australia, along with frequent travel, continues to influence her work.

After five years working as a management consultant in London—feeling uninspired and short on time to create—Catriona left corporate life in 2024 to pursue painting full-time.
